I basically played full games with 4 minute periods and tried to score 10 goals a game(easy on rookie of course) so I was done around 20 games in and didn’t have to worry which goals were scored by me or the sim.
For the “get 200 hits in a season” boost, I just beefed my players checking and aggression in the second season and played full games until I got my 200 hits. (if you get around 10 a game you can do it in the first 20 games or so)
]]>No. The boosts you can unlock offline are the only things that carry over to your online BAP. You need to unlock your online cards in order to add points for online. This can be done either in EASHL Club games, Drop-in Games, or Online Team Play.
]]>There are two different BAP types. There is your online, EASHL/OTP BAP, and there is your offline BAP. Boosts can be used on both versions. Playing OTP/EASHL games unlock your online BAP cards which give you attribute points to spend, the boosts are applied on top of those points. When you play your offline BAP you earn XP for the games you play which can be spent on your offline BAP. You also unlock BAP cards with offline, but they don’t really give you anything. Hope this clears it up for you, if not let me know.
]]>The games need to be at the NHL level. If you’re doing this in the CHL or AHL, they don’t count towards progression. It is also quite possible EA changed this as I have had no need to do this since I unlocked my boosts. Hopefully it’s just the CHL/AHL thing and you can do this still. 😀
]]>at the end of the game it shows all your improvements but games played remains at 0%… am i doing something wrong, or do these still count as games played?
]]>1. Those who against this move are probably the ones who spent their time glitching the system to get their guy as high as they could in all attributes so they completely dominated the new guys solely because you were faster/stronger than them. Most of the guys I see dominate because they have better attributes are hosers and absolutely suck at the game.
2. I really don’t want to be capped because of a few rotten apples. I agree with not having 99 as an option, but we should be able to get there using the boosts – free. As long as they are not “paid for”, I have no problem with boosts of this nature. If +8 or +9 is the max you are going to get out of a boost, then you should be able to get to 97+ as that is literally going to take all of their boost currency and they might be able to get 3 of those stats to 97+. I know many players in the NHL who’d have 3 or more stats at 97+. Plus, if you have 3 stats at 97+ in this game, you are going to completely blow at everything else.
]]>It’s been awhile since I’ve played the game, but I’m fairly certain it explains that you have to target lock whomever you’re looking at. Eagle vision only shows characters that are doing things that can be added to the Encyclopedia, which is a more productive than arbitrarily trying to view every character you run into.
